Imagine Having Clothes That ALWAYS Fit During Perimenopause and Menopause

Imagine having clothes that always fit you, look fabulous and you can style various ways as you navigate body changes in perimenopause and menopause?

You have a big presentation or event the next day. You carefully choose what you are going to wear. The day comes, you feel a little bloated and when you put on your outfit… it doesn’t fit or it doesn’t look great!

You go into your closet to find something to wear and try on at least 5 different outfits. You settle on one that fits but you walk out the door with less confidence than you had banked on.

Sound familiar?

Going through perimenopause and menopause is a wild ride. The changes can happen literally overnight and we have very little control over them.

I find it interesting that there is so much out there now about the body changes, but very few are addressing how we get dressed and the impact our clothes have on our confidence.

When perimenopause first hit me, I was on QVC a lot with 7 cameras catching me at all different angles. The fear that my outfit wouldn’t look good on me the next day was real.

So I set out to figure out what to wear that looks fabulous, works with changing body changes and isn’t a big black sack like dress.

What I discovered works like magic!

Dresses that fit and flare with a little extra space. When a dress shapes your waist without hugging your tummy and flares out in the hem, it creates the illusion of an hourglass shape. When the hem is the widest point, it draws the eye down the body and makes your tummy and waist look super narrow in comparison. Yay!

Soft styles that give shape, but have ease. I don’t know about you, but I have lost the desire for tight clothing. I want clothes to fit perfectly, but I also want them be soft and easy to wear. Stretch fabrics are great for this. They allow shape but offer comfort at the same time.

Prints cover a multitude. You will hear many stylists say that as we age we should wear timid or no print. I compeletly dissagree. When you wear a well shaped garment in a print, it camaflagues. It makes having a bloated day, nothing to worry about. Plus, you won’t have to worry about bra and panty lines showing.

Items that can be styled various ways. Because our bodies are changing so much we need clothing that can be styled in different ways to adapt to our body changes. One day you wear the dress loose, the other you belt it. This makes it so much easier to accept and support our bodies during these changes as appose to cursing and disbaraging the bodies we live in.
